Read Aloud

As Springfield celebrates its 375th Anniversary, SSV is thrilled that the 2011 Springfield School Volunteers/Babson Capital Management LLC Read Aloud will be recognized as an official celebration activity. The Read Aloud Program is seeking volunteers to read to students in grades pre-kindergarten through five in the Springfield Public Schools once a month, October - February.

New volunteers for this program can attend a training sesion on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from noon to 1:00 pm or from 4:00 - 5:00 pm or Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from noon to 1:00 pm or 4:00 - 5:00 pm. All sessions will be held at Western New England University, St. Germain Campus Center, Conference room 4.
