Employees released to volunteer come back to the workplace energized.
Many businesses, colleges and organizations provide weekly volunteers to work one-on-one with students, serving as academic tutors, mentors or enrichment volunteers. These employees are energized by and proud of their organization's commitment to education.
Participation in the School-to-Career transition enables you to have impact on the training of your future workforce.
Career-oriented programs, job-site tours, and workplace experiences provide the important link for students to succeed as employees or in higher education.
Sharing your organization's management training opportunities offers educators an invaluable resource.

* Become a School Partner. A School Partner links your company or organization with an individual school for the purpose of building a one-on-one relationship,enhancing the education of the students while meeting the community service goals of your company or organization.
* Become a Resource Partner. A Resource Partner shares human, material and/or financial resources with one or more of the Springfield Public Schools.
